Happy Birthday From The Cat!
The Largest Reading Celebration Ever Celebrates Dr. Seuss's 95th

For the second year, millions of children across America will celebrate reading on March 2 — Dr. Seuss's 95th birthday. The commemorative event, dubbed "Read Across America" by its sponsor, The National Education Association will build on the success of last year's celebration with more events and more resources available for local advocates. This year the event is also supported by The American Library Association, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the International Reading Association, the National PTA, the Newspaper Association of America Foundation, Reading Is Fundamental, the Screen Actors Guild Foundation, and many more. Join the party, you'll be in good company.

To find out how your library or school can participate, visit the Website at www.nea.org/readacross.

You will also find the printed campaign kit of great value also — it has all the stuff from the Website plus camera-ready artwork and other printed material. Order yours now — supplies may be limited.

Contact NEA by email: readacross@nea.org, fax on demand: 1-888-2GETNEA (1-888-243-8632), phone 1-202-822-SEUS (1-202-822-7387), or write to: Read Across America, c/o National Education Association, 1201 16th St., NW, Washington, D.C. 20036.
